Deb’s Bakehouse is located in the old State Savings Bank in the township of Trafalgar. The building is very prominent and has great street presence, visible from the busy Princes Freeway. The building has recently been renovated to give further floor space. The business has been a long-term tenant, and we currently have a long lease and low rent.
Currently we are supplied from Nick’s Bakehouse, in Drouin, who deliver all our baked goods on a daily basis. There is no baking equipment on site. We sell a range of bread, cakes, pies, and we also make salad rolls, toasted sandwiches, and coffees. We also do catering for a number of local businesses and community organisations.
Nick’s Bakehouse also supplies large cakes to order, in a range of colours and styles. They also allow us to return our old bread in return for a credit of 50% of the original cost. Our suppliers are on an as needed basis with no formal agreements, so they are easy to change if you wish to do so.
We have Coca Cola fridges that are supplied from Coca-Cola Amatil. Please be aware that the fridges are the property of Coca-Cola, and they require you to be a customer for the fridges to remain. The same situation applies to our Peters freezer, who supply our ice-cream. Both companies are fully responsible for the maintenance and upkeep on the equipment they provide.
This is a great small business opportunity that is really flexible for whatever you wish to do with it. Walk in walk out, price is negotiable. If you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.
