ABOUT THE PERMITS
The Marine Permits issued by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. These include permit G15/34162.1 (a 15 year permit due for renewal in September 2022, subject to CDC remaining Eco Accredited). The permit allows CDC to conduct tourism operations across 19 moorings, including exclusive rights over Elford Reef (1), Channel Reef (2) and Briggs Reef (4); as well as permission by the Authority for two vessels to conduct a tourism program across this scope.
The options (negotiable) are for the original owner to remain as a consultant for a period of time to help assist in the transition. The General Manager has interests in the business and wishes to remain along with some key staff.
This business would be a great avenue to enter into the Nth Qld Marine Tourism market as new permits are no longer available with any more than 50 days so ideal for new players in the area and or industry.
